New feature: Set 'no data' flag (`X`) automatically in catalog csv while preloading events
What to do
Advance issue #6 (closed) (account for catalog events without accessible waveform data): While preloading the catalog events, mark them as 'no data' (flag X
) directly in the catalog .csv
.
Also events with gaps should be treated as 'no data' (--> would solve issue #5).
Benefit
Issue #6 (closed) allowed (with a new flag) to avoid a logging Warning for catalog events that are not accessible in the waveform archive. So far, this flagging has to happen manually. With this feature, one would save the time to manually check (the logging output) which events are not accessible.
Plan of attack
within TM.io.preload_events
, read the catalog .csv
(as raw text should suffice) and set the flag of the i-th's event.
Note: need to account for the index shift when some preloaded events (of a previous scan) already exist.
